Limited Edition of Bongo Friendee

Mazda Motor Corporation has started selling "City Runner," a special edition of the Bongo Friendee at Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealerships throughout Japan.

With its box-type body configuration, the vehicle provides plenty of interior room with flexible seating arrangements.

The new "City Runner" is a revamp of the popular limited edition "City Runner Briza," released in May of this year. Based on the two-wheel-drive, 2.0-liter engine, standard roof RS-V model, the new model features aerodynamic exterior parts to add a dash of sport. A genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel and moquette fabric seat surface highlight the interior. Twin fully automatic air conditioners ensure a comfort ride on hot summer days.

Pricing of the new City Runner remains moderate and reasonable, 130,000 yen less expensive than the standard Bongo Friendee equipped with all these features. Mazda will build only 6,000 units of this special model, available only in Japan.
